It’s the most wonderful time of the year

Updated: Mar 11, 2023

We are right in the thick of the holiday season. This year looks very different from last year, as we continue staying home and safe from the coronavirus. We’ve rounded up some activities your child can participate in this December!

1. Camp!

Check out this is list of holiday camps put together by Expat Living! Camps are a great way for your child to learn something and make new friends. Get them out of their comfort zone!

2. Holiday Cards

Since we’re spending some time away from our extended families, why not send them holiday well wishes. Gather the family, have a little photo shoot, print them out, and have your child write some kind words! Get out the stamps and envelopes and drop them off at the post office. I am sure Grandma and Grandpa will appreciate the gesture because everyone loves getting something in the mail!

3. Baking!

Okay, so you’re not great in the kitchen, or you are! Get your kids involved in baking some treats! Practice reading, taking turns and measuring skills with these simple bake instructions.

4. Christmas Lights

Nothing gets me into the spirit of the holidays than some Christmas lights, round up the family and head to orchard road, and walk under the lights. Remember to wear your masks and practice social distancing. Have a safe walk and take lots of pictures!
